26 year old Bentil signed a two year deal with Bahcesehir this offseason but the deal had a get out clause via the Euroleague and reports reaching Ghana’s biggest basketball portal indicate he will trigger the clause.
A move to Milano represents a return to the Euroleague for the former Dallas Mavericks player who played two years in the continental championship during his time at Panathinaikos.
Bentil averaged 6.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per game across 31 outings last season while averaging 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 30 Greek League games.
With Panathinaikos, Bentil won the League title twice and the 2020-2021 Greek Cup title mainly in a role in the Athens club’s second unit.
Bentil has played in France, Spain, China and Greece since turning pro in 2016 after a standout career at Providence College.
