Speaking at the presser, third year Guard Johnson praised the fourth year defender Mensah’s work by stating:
“Nate is very efficient. He doesn’t force anything. When the ball comes his way, he’s ready for it, and he’s ready to make that big play. He might not always say give me the ball, but when the ball gets to him, he’s ready to score. So, it’s our job to realize that and feed him more and give him more play calls.”
6 foot 10 inch Mensah is averaging 11.3 points, 1.8 blocks, 1.0 assists and 7.8 rebounds in four games played this season.
