Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has won the 2021 FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season Game Most Valuable Player Award between Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul and ZZ Leiden.
Bentil led all players in the game by scoring 24 points and adding eight rebounds, two steals, a block and no turnovers in 26:16 minutes as a starter. Bahcesehir won the contest via an 84-61 result over Dutch side ZZ Leiden.
The 26 year old converted nine of 21 field goal shot attempts; he converted four of nine shots from two point range and scored five of 12 three point shot attempts. He scored one of two free throws in the contest en route to winning the Award.
Bahcesehir concludes the first round of games as Group E winners with six wins in six games and has qualified to the next round of FIBA Europe’s second tier competition.
In three games, former Dallas Mavericks Forward Ben Bentil averaged 16 points and 5.3 rebounds in 22.7 minutes. The second round commences on December 8.
