Basketballghana.com can report Mets de Guaynabo’s quest to clinch the 2021 BSN Title has hit a snag after falling heavily to Capitanes Arecibo in Game 5 of the best of seven games playoff series in Puerto Rico’s top flight basketball league.
Mets lost 70-100 to Arecibo in Game 5 earlier today with Ghana Center Amida Brimah registering just four points, four rebounds, a block and an assist in 23:41 minutes as a starter. He turned the ball over once in the game. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
Brimah’s production was the worst since joining Mets midway through the Regular Season after his exit from NBA side Indiana Pacers. Guaynabo had a terrible offensive output in Game 5 with Forward Tony Bishop’s 12 points registering as the team’s highest.
In Game 4, Brimah had his best performance by producing 18 points, nine rebounds and nine blocks in 34 minutes to tie the series; he was one rebound and one block short of a triple double.
Game 6 is on Thursday, November 17.
