Ghana's Braves of Customs competed in BAL qualifiers in 2019

Basketballghana.com can confirm Reformers of Prisons have won the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I title. The title is Prisons first ever in the history of the league.

Reformers swept Braves of Customs en route to winning the historic title via a 76-58 win in Game One and a 61-55 win in Game 2 with both wins coming at the Prisons Court in Cantonments. (Click highlighted text to read game report)

In both games, Prisons played like the more motivated side and disciplined side than Braves and the latter proved decisive in the series closer.

Customs was hit with at least five technical fouls in the duration of the contest for overzealous challenge for the ball and derogatory remarks at referees.

Prisons profited from such fouls to build gain a wire to wire win in front of an expectant crowd; Braves Guard Baniba Dodzie bore the brunt of such fouls and barely mustered 15 minutes in the game hurting Customs spacing in the process.
