Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian-American Milan Acquaah emerged as t the standout player in EN Paralimni’s latest win in the Cypriot Basketball League.
Acquaah registered 34 points in Paralimni’s close 91-89 win over Keravnos to clinch its sixth win in as many games and move to second place in the 12 team league standings.
The 6 foo3 inch Guard added seven rebounds, eight assists and a steal in 39 minutes but turned the ball over four times as he continues to take more ball handling responsibility for Paralimni.
Former California Baptist University (CBU) Guard Acquaah is playing out his debut season since as a professional basketball player after graduating CBU.
He converted five of 13 two point shot attempts, converted six of 13 three point shot attempts and scored six of eight free throw attempts in the game to pace all players in scoring.
He is averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game this season; Paralimni trails only fellow unbeaten side AEK Larnaca in the standings.
