The 6 foot 10 inch defender won the 2018 NBA Gatorade League title with Austin Spurs-the affiliate team of NBA side San Antonio Spurs-and made the All Defensive First Team in the G League.

Amida has had a brilliant run in the playoffs and would be counted on heavily to steer Mets to a title; this is the first time since 1993 that the team is competing in the finals. (Click highlighted text to watch highlights)
