Basketballghana.com can confirm the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Playoff schedule is set to be reviewed with a likely change to be announced in the coming days.
The ABL Board communicated this officially earlier today in the wake of the cancellation of TUSK Foundation’s game against Ghana Navy in the Men’s Division II Playoff series.
Navy’s game was postponed to a yet to be named date a little under three minutes into the second quarter with the team leading 23-18 due to a “lighting issue” at the Prisons Court in Cantonments. (Click highlighted text to read story)
A similar situation with the facility’s lights forced Game One of the Braves of Customs game against Reformers of Prisons in the Men’s Division I series to start almost 30 minutes late.
Due to this development, Ghana Fire Service game against Adenta Leopards to determine fourth and third places in the Men’s Division I has been affected.
Reformers Game 2 matchup against Ghana Police Service in the Women’s Division Finals has also been affected by the change in schedule as both games were to be played out today.
