Ghana Center Amida Brimah is a blessing to have according to Mets de Guaynabo Guard EJ Crawford after a string of dominant performances from Brimah.
Former Indiana Pacers defender Brimah joined Guaynabo midway through the BSN League campaign in Puerto Rico’s top flight basketball league.
Mets leads its best of seven game series against Vaqueros Bayamon 3-1 thanks to Brimah’s impressive defensive performances. In Game 3, Brimah registered 11 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks and was named Man of the Match. (Click highlighted text to watch highlights)
In Mets’ Game 4 win, Brimah produced eight points, 16 rebounds and a block in 37:42 minutes as a starter as Mets beat Bayamon 84-66.
Crawford stated, “Brimah has been huge, he is a seven foot athlete who protects the rim. All teams need that and I am grateful that he plays for us. Every time a Point Guard gets in the paint, they are looking for him, he blocks a lot of shots and he’s a blessing to have.”
Game 5 is on Tuesday, November 2.
