Newly elected Executives of the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) have expressed their appreciation for all involved in the successful organization of a successful Congress in an official statement released earlier today.

The new Executives made up of President Ato Van-Ess, Vice President (Administration and Finance) Alex Kukula, Vice President (Technical and Development Programmes) Iddrisu Ayambire and Treasurer Aurora Commodore-Toppar were elected into office for a four year tenure at the just ended GBBA Congress.

That aside, the new Executives called on all stakeholders for their support to develop the sport in the football dominated sports landscape in the West African nation.

This year’s Congress was held at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Center and was witnessed by representatives from the National Sports Authority and Ghana Olympic Committee.

Ayambire

The new Executives take over from the David Addo-Ashong led group that was in power from 2010; Ayambire was part of the previous administration but retained his seat after beating Christopher Luguterah to the seat.
