Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Amida Brimah has recorded a double double in Mets de Guaynabo’s second win in its semifinal playoff series against Vaqueros in the BSN League.
Mets topped Vaqueros 82-71 in Game 3 of the best of even game playoff series in Puerto Rico top flight basketball league with Brimah starting for Guaynabo.
The former Indiana Pacers defender put together another solid production by registering 11 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks in 37:23 minutes. Brimah was named Man of the Match. (Click highlighted text to view tweet)
Brimah led players in rebounds and blocks with five of his rebound count coming on the offensive side and the remaining nine coming on the offensive side.
The 6 foot 10 inch defender converted all five free throw attempts and scored three of six two point shot attempts in the game including a two handed dunk in the second quarter to put Mets up 33-24. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
Teammate Tyquan Rolon led all players in scoring with 22 points, five rebounds and four assists. Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday, October 31 with Mets leading the series 2-1.
