Basketballghana.com gathers the much anticipated Waterpark Sports Invitational (WPSI) Basketball Tournament is set to play out in December.
The competition is scheduled to run from December 20 to December 22 with a location in the works and to be confirmed in the coming days.
Ghana’s biggest basketball portal gathers six teams have been invited to compete in the tournament later this year with Basketball School Academy (BSA) confirming its invitation.
BSA-with a roster heavy on young talents- recently completed its debut season in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I and Women’s Division. A handful of ABL teams are under consideration as competitors in the tournament.
Chief Executive Officer of Waterpark Sports, Dennis Boateng has communicated all participating teams “will go through a one day leadership and basketball workshop program facilitated by Waterpark Sports prior to the tournament”.
Waterpark is a sports brand apparel company that kits a handful of teams in the Ghanaian Sports space especially basketball including 2021 ABL Playoff contenders Tudu Galaxy and TUSK Foundation.
