Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Amida Brimah has produced a double double in Mets de Guaynabo’s 68-83 loss to Vaqueros earlier today.
The loss came in Game One of the semifinal playoff series between the two sides in the BSN League in Puerto Rico. Brimah joined Mets for the second half of the 2021 Season after his exit from Indiana Pacers.
The former University of Connecticut Captain registered 10 points, 14 rebounds, an assist, a steal and three blocks in 35:44 minutes as a starter. (Click highlighted text to watch game)
Brimah led all players in blocks and rebounds with eight of his rebounds coming on the offensive side in the low scoring game for Mets.
Justin Dentmon led Mets in scoring with 15 points and added four assists and a rebound; Brimah scored five of eight two point shot attempts but attempted no free throw and three point shot in the game.
The teams face off on Wednesday, October 27 in Game 2 with the winner of the seven game series set to meet the winner of the Capitanes-Cariduros series.
