The end of the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Regular Season gives way to the postseason and following an exciting round of games, the playoffs are set to commence on Tuesday, October 26 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.

The home sides could end up have its representatives in the league make it to the finals in the Women’s and Men’s Divisions respectively on the back of both teams having excellent campaigns thus far.

Reformers of Prisons Ladies team is due to play Ghana Air Force on Thursday, October 28 at 15:00GMT while the Men’s team takes on Ghana Fire Service on Wednesday, October 27 at 15:00 GMT.

The Male Reformers surprised the field by going unbeaten in eight games picking up impressive wins against tough opponents Tema Youth, Ghana Police Service and Adenta Leopards.

Prisons Female Team lost one of eight games in the regular season (the loss was against Braves of Customs) to top Group B in the division. Its opponent in the playoffs first round, Air Force, won four of eight games.

Fire Service ended the Men’s Division I campaign with five wins and three losses. Braves had its Male and Female Team compete in the last league finals.
