Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Small Forward Reggie Agbeko has scored 18 points in Zornotza’s latest win in the Spanish Basketball League Lower League.
Zornotza clinched a 72-68 win over Zamora in the LEB Silver; the win is Zornotza’s third in as many games this season and pushes the club to fourth place in the 14 team West Division standings.
Agbeko added five rebounds and a steal in 28 minutes as a starting Forward to his 18 point scoring performance as he continues to settle in the team he signed for in the past offseason.
The 29 year old has made a very good start to life with his new team as he is averaging 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in three league games.
This is Agbeko’s third season in Spain after playing for Villarobledo and Albacete; he scored five of eight two point shot attempts and converted eight of 10 free throw attempts.
Zornotza plays Burgos next on Saturday, October 30 with Burgos spotting a win in three games this season.
