Reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate Team Kwasi-Kumah is ready to complete the filling of nomination forms today for the upcoming Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) elections.

The long awaited elections (first since 2010) are due to take place on Saturday, October 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Centre in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

Dr. Andre Kwasi-Kumah who is vying for the GBBA Presidential seat leads a team of veteran basketball Ghanaian basketball personalities ready to occupy various positions in the Association.

Kwame Ofosu-Agyekum, Christopher Luguterah and Seth Okine are on the team and vying for the Vice President (Finance and Administration), Vice President (Technical and Developmental Programmes) and Treasurer respectively.

Dr. Kwasi-Kumah has pointed out under his leadership, the GBBA Constitution is sure to be reviewed to bring more stakeholders on board highlighting one of the main tenets of his campaign-All Inclusiveness.

In an interview with Ghana’s biggest basketball portal, the Owner of Kaneshie Swanlakers Basketball Club stated his administration will develop a comprehensive plan for Ghana basketball after a series of consultations in six months should his team get voted into office.
