The Ghana Basketball Association Congress is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Center on Saturday, October 30 with the election of personnel for key positions in the Association headlining the event.
Ahead of the event Presidential Aspirant Dr. Andre Kwesi-Kumah has heaped praise on the nominees on his team running for various positions in the Association.
Christopher Luguterah, Kwame Ofosu Agyekum and Seth Okine are running for the positions of Vice President (Technical Development), Vice President (Administration and Finance) and Treasurer respectively.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com, Dr. Kwasi-Kumah made time to shine the light on his fellow nominees stating:
“There are many skills that we need to lead the fraternity and I can find them in these leaders…we are selfless, we are accomplished in our own areas but the most important thing that unites us is the passion for Ghana basketball. We are all passionate about it and we will sacrifice, do whatever that we have to do to raise the game that is the most important thing that unites us; our passion.”
Team Kwasi-Kumah is up against Team Van-Ess in the Elections.
