Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Amida Brimah has led Mets De Guaynabo to a 2-1 series lead in the BSN Playoffs in Puerto Rico.
Guaynabo beat Leones de Ponce 81-67 ahead of a crucial Game 4 scheduled to take place later today in the best of seven games postseason series. (Click highlighted text to watch game)
Brimah registered 18 points, seven rebounds, an assist, two steals and a block in a stat sheet stuffing performance in 26:25 minutes off the bench.
Mets has been without star Point Guard David Stockton throughout the series as he deals with a hamstring injury; David is the son of Basketball Hall of Famer John Stockton.
Brimah’s game leading scoring output came on the back of converting four of five free throws and converting seven of 12 two point shot attempts.
Three other Gyanabo players scored double figures including Stockton’s replacement Dwight Buycks who produced 15 points and two steals.
Brimah moved to Puerto Rico after his stint with NBA side Indiana Pacers.
