Basketballghana.com can report Dr. Andre Kwasi-Kumah has made his intention to contend for the role of Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President officially known.
The Presidential aspirant earlier today rolled out his campaign message and other members on his team scheduled to contend for top positions in the Association.
The elections are slated to take place on Saturday, October 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Center as a major item on the GBBA Congress itinerary.
Dr. Kwasi-Kumah is the owner of Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II Team Kaneshie SwanLakers and is the present Chairman of the Volta Oti Regional Basketball Association Chairman.
Head Coach of Braves of Customs Basketball Team Seth Okine is running for the position of Treasurer, Kwame Ofosu Agyekum is in the running for the Vice President Administration seat and Christopher Luguterah is eyeing the Vice Presidential Technical seat.
18 constituents with two representatives per constituency will vote on the aspirants on October 30. GBBA President David Addo-Ashong isn’t expected to run as an incumbent.
