Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian International Small Forward/Power Forward Reggie Agbeko has signed for a new club ahead of the 2021-2022 Spanish LEB Season.

Agbeko has signed for Zornotza after playing out the previous season at Villarobledo; prior to Villarobledo, Agbeko suited up for fellow LEB Silver team Albacete.

The upcoming season represents Agbeko’s third year competing in Spain’s lower division; since turning pro he has played in Denmark and Spain after graduating from St. Louis University.

6 foot 7 inch Agbeko averaged 8.3 points and 6.9 rebounds for Villarobledo last season with the team recording 12 wins and 14 losses in the regular season.

On the other hand, Zornotza ended the past season with 16 wins and 10 loss to rank third in the standings and progress to the playoffs.

The team’s playoff run came to an end at the semifinal stage following a 0-2 series loss to FC Barcelona 2; by joining Zornotza, Agbeko has improved his chances of making it to the playoffs.

Agbeko and Zornotza play Gijon On Saturday, October 9 to open the season.
