This comes on the back of the 6 foot 6 inch player accepting an athletic scholarship from Iona recently following an extensive process where he visited a handful of Colleges interested in him. (Click highlighted text to watch highlights)
He is in line to play for Iona University at the start of the 2022-2023 season as he sees out the final semester as a Senior at Our Saviour Lutheran School.
Iona University’s Head Coach is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee who has won the National basketball title at the College level twice.
He has coached University of Kentucky, University of Louisville and Boston Celtics at the NBA level; he led Panathinaikos to the 2019 Greek League title. Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was on the Panathinaikos roster in 2019.
The product of Kumasi based Chiefs Basketball Academy received similar scholarship offers from Seton Hall, Auburn University, University of Pittsburgh, St. John’s University and Bryant University.
