Bentil

After leading his new side Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul to clinch the Gloria Cup, Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is still in fine form in preseason following his move from Panathinaikos in the Greek League.

This offseason, the 6 foot 8 inch Combo Forward moved to Turkey and was named MVP of the Gloria Cup after starring in the preseason tournament. (Click highlighted text to view tweet)

Earlier this weekend, the former Providence College standout registered 20 points and six rebounds in Koleji’s 82-67 win over Fenerbache in the Cevat Soydas Tournament.

Teammate Jamar Smith had 15 points and six assists while Erkan Yilmaz and Berkay Candan scored nine points respectively in the contest.

This is Bentil’s second preseason competition after signing for Istanbul; the 2021-2022 Turkish League is due to commence later in October.

He is expected to bring his scoring touch to the team that largely struggled last season and missed out on the play season in one of Europe’s best leagues.

Bentil helped Panathinaikos to win two Greek league titles and last season’s Greek Basketball Cup title in Greece.
