Basketballghana.com can confirm Canadian Center of Ghanaian descent Charles Bediako will wear the number “10” jersey in his first year with the University of Alabama Men’s Basketball Team.

The jersey numbers have been confirmed for the team ahead of the commencement of the 2021-2022 Men’s College Basketball Season in the United States of America.

Bediako, listed at 7 feet by Alabama but 6 foot 11 inches by FIBA, is the only listed Center on the roster and could start at the position in his rookie year should he continue to develop.

Listed as an athletic player with who rebounds, blocks shots and defends the rim Bediako’s and his high motor gives him a high ceiling he could grow to.

He was one of the most sought after players in his class and turned down student-athletic scholarships from the likes of Duke University and University of Texas before picking Alabama.

At this year’s FIBA Under World Cup, Bediako averaged four points and 2.9 rebounds in 12.7 minute across seven games helping Canada to clinch bronze.
