Basketballghana.com can report, ahead of the commencement of the second round of games in the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division, Ghana Police Service and Reformers of Prisons are leading the way.

UG (Blue with gold strip) v Police

Defending champions Ghana Police leads Group A while Reformers surprisingly leads Group B ahead of multiple league champs Braves of Customs.

Reformers v Galaxy in Women’s Division

Prisons and Police are yet to drop a game this season after four league games and both teams have accumulated eight maximum points in the first round.

Braves rank second ahead of Basketball School Academy (BSA), Ghana Army and Tudu Galaxy; debutant BSA has made an encouraging start to life in the division with two wins in four games thus far.

Galaxy is yet to record a win in the 2021 season but Group A’s bottom ranked team, University of Ghana (UG), has a win in four games.

Police leads the Group ahead of Ghana Fire Service, Ghana Navy, Ghana Airforce Turbojets and UG.
