Aside organizing the Camp, Coach K is headlining the construction of a basketball court at Sekyedumase in the West African nation’s Ashanti Region.

The absence of basketball courts in communities in Ghana is a major reason for the stunted growth of basketball in a country that has football dominating the sports landscape.

Coach K has stated on his Twitter page he “will not rest until every Ghanaian Basic school child has the opportunity to play basketball in this country”. (Click highlighted text to view tweet)
