Kaneshie Swanlakers has lost a 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II Regular Season game for the second time in a row.

The team lost 41-50 to Panthers on Wednesday, September 1 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in Accra. This comes on the back of a 53-73 loss to Tudu Galaxy.

Ending the first quarter tied at 12, turnovers in the final moments in the second quarter swayed the momentum to Panthers who maintained the game’s lead to see out the win.

With Kaneshie trailing by a point (21-22), back to back giveaways ended up with Panthers scoring to take a 26-21 lead to the half time break.

Despite a valiant effort in the third quarter with Shooting Guard Michael Smith hitting a pair of three pointers, Kaneshie couldn’t overturn the deficit to secure the win over the veteran Panthers side.
