Ghanaian-Italian International Shooting Guard/ Small Forward Awudu Abass has stated he still has a lot to do when it comes to his professional basketball career.

He made this statement in an interview with Virtus TV-the official media outlet of Virtus Bologna recently as the team continues to prepare for the 2021-2022 Italian Serie A season.

Virtus won the League title last season by sweeping Olimpia Milano in the Finals Series; 28 year old Abass won his second league title in his career.

After speaking about his mindset as a player, the 6 foot 6 inch Swingman touched on his career since graduating from the Cantu junior side. (Click highlighted text to view story)

“My career? I still have a lot to do, but even in the last season I have shown that I can be decisive even when I am not the center of attention. I still have a long way to grow especially in the details” he said.

Abass has played for Milano, Cantu and Germani Brescia in his career and extended his contract with Virtus this offseason.
