Basketballghana.com can confirm the window for teams in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) to add on to their existing rosters has been opened.
The ABL Board communicated this officially during the announcement of the 2021 Regular Season break midway through the campaign after completing games in the immediate past round.
With the league on a break and due to resume activities on Tuesday, September 7, teams are now eligible to add players to their rosters to compete in the second round of the 2021 campaign.
However, only teams with roster spots below the 25 man limit are eligible to register players during this period. Teams that have reached the limit aren’t allowed to bring in new players.
Licensed players aren’t permitted to transfer from a team to another; closing date for this window is Wednesday, September 1.
This applies to teams in all three divisions in the league-Men’s Division I, Men’s Division II and Women’s Division. 10 teams compete in Division I and Women’s Division and 15 teams compete in Division II.
