Midway through the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II Regular Season, Accra Flames Basketball Team has managed just a win in four outings.

The team dropped its second game in a row following a 32-84 loss to Ghana Navy Basketball Team in the immediate past round of league games played at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.

Flames committed several turnovers and failed to hit shots from all over the court; the league’s midway comes with a break and league action is set to return on Tuesday, September 7.

Accra Flames beat Ghana Airforce Jets 50-46 but missed out scoring a second win in a row after falling 39-57 to Adenta Wolves on August 12 at the aforementioned league venue.

Prior to its sole win of the season thus far, Flames lost 46-67 to Icons Basketball Academy; this season’s league format change means the 15 competing teams in the division have been spread across three groups with five teams in each group.

Flames is in Group C.
