Ghana and Indiana Pacers Center Amida Brimah’s run in the 2021 NBA Summer League has come to an end; Pacers played out its fifth and final game in the preseason tournament against Washington Wizards.
The tournament ended earlier today in Las Vegas with Sacramento Kings beating Boston Celtics in the final game. Though Pacers didn’t make it to the final, the team won three of its matchups with Brimah playing in four of those matchups.
6 foot 10 inch defender Amida had a poor run earlier on in the tournament but end his third run in the Summer League on a solid not thanks to his contributions in Pacers 74-65 win over Washington.
Brimah registered two points, six rebounds, a steal, an assist and three blocks in 12 minutes off the bench. He attempted two shots in the game and converted one via a dunk in the third quarter. (Click highlighted text to watch video)
Amida will shift attention to preseason games with the main team in the coming months as he attempts to make the final roster when the upcoming season tips off on October 19.
