Petro Do Luanda Basketball Club Head Coach Jose Neto has expressed his gratitude in the wake of his addition to the Brooklyn Nets Coaching Staff for the 2021 NBA Summer League.
The news was recently confirmed of his appointment for the NBA team’s participation in the preseason tournament that runs from August 8 to August 17 in Las Vegas.
50 year old veteran Brazilian Trainer Neto guided Angolan side Luanda to third place earlier this year in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) that had Egyptian side Zamalek lift the title.
Zamalek Center and Defensive Player of the Tournament, Anas Mahmoud, has been included in Toronto Raptors roster and scored two points on his solo shot attempt in an 89-79 win over New York Knicks. (Click highlighted text to view story)
