Ghana Center Amida Brimah has praised Indiana Pacers new look coaching staff on the back of a major overhaul of the team’s technical group earlier this offseason.
The 6 foot 10 inch 27 year old made this statement as Pacers prepare to compete in the 2021 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas that runs from August 8 to August 17 with all 30 teams in the league due to compete.
After failing to make the playoffs last season, Indiana fired Nate Bjorkgren after just one season as the Head Coach and replaced him with 2011 NBA Championship title winning Coach Rick Carlisle.
Before leading Dallas Mavericks to the title, Carlisle served as Pacers Head Coach and Brimah has noticed changes following Carlisle’s return.
“The energy is for sure different. Everybody is positive. We have a Hall of Fame head coach, everyone is really smart with the game. Whenever you need to get on the court you can go to anyone whenever you want to and you always have anyone available to learn from” he said in an interview with IndyStar.
Brimah will compete in the Summer League for the third time in his career. Click highlighted text to view story)
