Brimah became the second ever Ghana born player to play in the NBA after competing for Pacers in the latter part of the 2020-2021 season. The two way contract means he can play for the Pacers and Indiana’s affiliate side in the NBA Gatorade League-Fort Wayne Mad Ants within the season.
The 27 year old has been included in the 14 man roster set to compete in the Las Vegas Summer League that runs from August 8 to August 17.
As one of only two Centers named on the roster, Brimah figures to play extensive minutes in the offseason tournament and try to work his way into a consistent fixture in Pacers rotation for the upcoming NBA season.
This is the athletic 6 foot 10 inch defender’s third run out in the Summer League after featuring for Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
