Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah has been added to Indiana Pacers roster to compete in the 2021 NBA Summer League.
The upcoming Summer League-a series of tournament games for youngsters in the NBA and veterans vying to get signed by an NBA roster-is due to commence on August 8 and end on August 17 with the first of three stops starting in Sacramento. Salt Lake City will also host Summer League games this season.
6 foot 10 inch Brimah made his NBA debut late in the 2020-2021 season stepping in as a replacement for the injured Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis.
He is one of two Centers alongside Goga Bitadze named on the roster that has 2021 NBA Draft 13th overall pick Chris Duarte on it. Duarte is a 6 foot 6 inch Shooting Guard who played at the University of Oregon before getting drafted.
Brimah has played in the Summer League in previous years for Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls after graduating from University of Connecticut in 2017.
