Basketballghana.com can confirm teams in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II have been drawn into various groups to compete in the 2021 Season.
This comes prior to the season’s commencement on Tuesday, July 27 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in Accra with a pair of games from the Division taking center stage.
Juniour Reformers play Basketball School Academy (BSA) at 15:00 GMT with Accra Flames taking on Icons Basketball Academy in the follow up contest.
However, in order to complete the season in time due to complications from the lingering effects of the COVID 19 pandemic, a new format has been adopted by the League Board. (Click highlighted text to view story)
The 15 team roster has been drawn into three groups with five teams in each group; Navy, Panthers, Tudu Galaxy and University of Ghana (UG) are among the top rated teams headlining the various groups.
Teams compete against opponents exclusive to the group and the group winners play each other in a series of postseason games to determine the division’s winner.
