Basketballghana.com can confirm game days for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) 2021 Season are to be spread across the entire week in the respective divisions.

The ABL is made up of the Men’s Division I, Women’s Division and Men’s Division II and the upcoming season is due to commence on July 27.

Ghana’s leading basketball portal can report games involving Division II teams are to be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Games in the Division I and Women’s Division are to be played on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

This is a new arrangement for the league brought on by the need to complete the season with an eye to declare a winner across all divisions with the FIBA-NBA Basketball Africa League (BAL) qualifiers due to commence in October.

The start of the league has delayed largely because of lingering effects of the COVID 19 pandemic; ABL embarked on a three day vaccination program for personnel involved in the league.
