Basketballghana.com can confirm Accra Basketball League (ABL) new side Basketball School Academy (BSA) will make its debut in the ABL in the opening round of the 2021 Season.

The upcoming campaign tips off on Tuesday, July 27 at 15:00 GMT at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra and is the first of two scheduled games in the ABL Men’s Division II for the day.

BSA takes on Junior Reformers in its debut game before Accra Flames plays Icons Basketball Academy in the follow up contest in the opening round.

15 teams will compete in the Division II this season with all teams spread across three groups with five teams in each group. The winner of each group will engage in a three way series to determine the ultimate winner of the division.

The move is part of a broad scheme to see out what is going to be a compressed season with similar changes taking place in the 10 team Men’s Division I and Women’s Division.
