Starting the season would end the longer than expected wait for the return of the League after the 2020 campaign got cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

The effects of the pandemic have led to a latter start date for the league and a mandatory COVID Vaccination program for all stakeholders prior to the start of the league.
