Basketballghana.com can confirm Tema Community Basketball Club will compete in a friendly game against St. Joseph’s CYO in its latest outing in the offseason.
The friendly is due to tip off at the Tema Community 4 Court on Sunday, July 18 at 17:30 GMT; CYO competes in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s League while C4 has been ever present feature in the Tema Basketball League.
C4 has recorded wins in friendly games over Ghana Navy and Sakumono Titans in previous outings as part of preparations for the upcoming Tema League season.
Titans competed in the 2019 season as a debutant and made the playoffs; Navy competes in the ABL.
The upcoming season’s start date and format is still yet to be communicated officially by the league board; it is the same in the ABL leaving both teams in limbo.
C4 won the TBL in 2017 and made it to the second round of the 2019 playoffs; the 2020 season was lost to the COVID 19 pandemic.
