Basketballghana.com can confirm Abenkyimhene Nana Ntow Nyinah II has paid a visit to YETS Ghana Youth Development Centre construction site.

The Centre sited at Anwiankwanta in Ghana’s Ashanti Region is under development and expected to serve as a multipurpose youth development facility when completed.

Phase 1A of the project has been completed and the next phase is set to commence later this year and the royal with a handful of aides interacted with personnel connected to the project including Coaches Abdul Umar Razak Kasim and Alexander Takyi.

The completed Phase involved the construction of the facility’s wall and first coat of painting of the wall; when completed the facility will have a library, auditorium, two basketball courts, a dormitory among others.

YETS Ghana is a foundation that aims to develop young individuals through education and sports specifically basketball. Several individuals have secured senior high school scholarships through YETS Ghana’s after school basketball program.

Former St. Louis Senior High School Guard Sandra Dakorah benefitted from this scheme.
