Basketballghana.com can confirm young Ghanaian Center/Power Forward Emmanuel Dowuona has been added to Tennessee State University’s Men’s Basketball Roster for the 2021-2022 season.
His addition to the Tigers roster confirms Dowuona’s transfer to the program is complete; Dowuona entered his name in the transfer portal following the conclusion of the 2019-2020 season where he competed for Purdue University.
The 6 foot 10 inch player is rated as an athletic rim protector who thrives on defense with an offensive game that needs to be worked on to expand his range away from the basket.
After having a difficult time carving extensive playing time at Purdue, Dowuona would be hoping the change gets him back on track as a fast rising prospect.
The roster is headlined by Point Guard Hercy Miller who is the son of Rap icon Master P; Miller generated a lot of headlines when he rejected scholarship offers from top programs like Vanderbilt University but chose the HBCU School (Historically Black Universities/Colleges).
