Adabraka CYO Basketball Club is hoping to complete the 2021 Regular Season in the Top 4 slots in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I according to Power Forward Rodman Tettey.
The undersized Forward made this assertion after getting vaccinated during the ABL’s recently held COVID 19 Vaccination program that ended this past weekend.
CYO competed in the 2019 Season after topping the Division II and ended up outside the top four spots in the regular season that would have guaranteed progression to the playoffs.
However, the team missed out on the postseason and according to Tettey, the team is aiming to finish its run among the coveted spots; the 2020 season was wiped out by the COVID 19 pandemic.
“We are hoping that we will come back this season and play in the Top 4 because it is every team’s focus to be in the Top 4 so that’s our expectation this year to play well this season and be in the Top 4” he said after acknowledging the Division I is a tough league.
