Basketball School Academy Coach Samuel Anaman has pointed out his team has its eyes set on playing good basketball to help generate interest in the league.

He said this in an interview with Basketballghana.com during the recently held COVID 19 Vaccination program for the league that took place at the Lebanon House in Tudu in Ghana’s capital, Accra. (Click highlighted text to watch full interview)

The vaccination program was held for three days to give ample opportunity for all persons connected to the Accra Basketball League (ABL) to get vaccinated and gain protection from the deadly virus.

Though the commencement date for the 2021 ABL Season is yet to be determined, Basketball School Academy will compete in the league in what is set to be its debut campaign after completing the registration process earlier this year.

Responding to a question on what fans should expect from his outfit, Anaman, who coached West Africa Senior High School (WASS) to second place at the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship, said:

“The game is changing so everybody would like to see very good basketball, full of action…that’s what we are bringing to the table not that kind of game where it’s boring…we want to generate some form of interest so we get spectators coming in”.
