New teams are bound to compete in this season’s NBA Finals and new faces are bound to win the NBA title and former Miami Heat Point Guard Tre Kelley has stated it would be an interesting thing to see.
He made this comment in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com on the sideline of a basketball clinic he headlined at the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon). (Click highlighted text to watch video)
Kelley, a 14 year Pro with a career that has seen him play in Turkey, Italy, Greece, Belgium and Israel, noted the impact of injuries to star players on the fortunes of teams in the playoffs including his former team, Miami Heat but sounded positive on the freshness that situation comes with.
“I think it will be interesting for the world to see new teams, new players…you have some great players who have never had this opportunity but it will be good to see some new guys win a title this year” he said.
Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns lead the Eastern and Western Conference Finals respectively at the time of writing.
