Basketballghana.com can confirm the Tre Kelley Basketball Clinic has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 27 at 11:00 GMT. However, the location of the event remains the same as Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) is due to host the former Miami Heat Guard.
The one day event was originally set to take place today but the program had to be moved to Sunday due to a logistical challenge that came up mere minutes before the planned start of the event.
The program is a Ghana Tourism Authority and Beyond The Return initiative connecting Ghana with the diaspora mainly in the United States of America.
Kelley is a veteran Point Guard with vast experience playing for clubs in Israel, China and Venezuela plus a stint with three time NBA Champions Miami Heat after graduating from University of South Carolina.
He is expected to touch on key areas of the sport including shooting, passing and dribbling plus life skills to aid participants’ development on and off the court.
PRESEC won the 2019 Accra Mayor’s Cup.
