Basketballghana.com can report former Miami Heat Guard Alfie Eugene “Tre” Kelley will headline a basketball clinic on Saturday, June 26 at the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon).
The event is scheduled to start at 14:00 GMT at the High School’s Basketball Court with over 30 students set to participate in the one day event.
Tomorrow’s event is a Ghana Tourism Authority and Beyond the Return Initiative that aims at increasing the popularity of basketball by connecting with the diaspora.
Participants at the Clinic are expected to be taken through improving their skill level in several phases of basketball including passing, dribbling and shooting.
Kelley is a veteran Point Guard who has played in teams in China, Italy and Israel and won the NBA Gatorade League with Austin Toros now Austin Spurs in 2016. He has suited up for Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Sioux Falls Skyforce also in the G League with a stint at Miami Heat also on his playing CV.
PRESEC Legon Basketball won the 2019 Accra Mayor’s Cup.
