Tema Community 4 Basketball Club has secured an 83-54 win over Sakumono Titans in a friendly game played out at the Community 4 Court.
The game took place at the venue popularly known as the Chinese Court this past weekend and had C4 secure the “friendly” win over Sakumono in front of its fans.
This marks another step up in preparation for both teams especially C4 ahead of the start of the 2021 Tema Basketball League (TBL) season.
The TBL season start is yet to be determined but it is shaping up to commence post July since July 20 marks the end of registration of teams and roster for the upcoming season.
Community 4 competed in a friendly game against Ghana Navy Basketball Club prior to the meet against fellow TBL side Titans. C4 won the TBL title in 2017 while Titans competed in the 2019 playoffs in what was the team’s debut run in the league.
The 2020 TBL Season was cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
