After his exit from Panathinaikos Basketball Club was confirmed during the weekend, Ghana Forward Ben Bentil professed his love for the team on Twitter. (Click highlighted text to view tweet).
Fans of the Athens Club reciprocated the gesture and showed loved to the Combo Forward who ended his two year run at the club after the 2020-2021 season concluded recently.
Basketballghana.com can confirm 26 year old 6 foot 8 inch Forward Bentil has since signed to play for Turkish Club Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul.
Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul ended the immediate past season in Turkey in 12th place with 10 wins and 20 losses; 16 teams competed in the 2020-2021 league campaign in Turkey.
Bentil won two league titles and the Greek Cup during his time at Panathinaikos as a spark plug off the bench for Oded Kattash’s team.
Prior to his move to Panathinaikos, the athletic Forward played in Greece for Peristeri, Bibao Basket in Spain and Champagne Reim in France. He also had a brief stint in the NBA with Dallas Mavericks.
