Spintex Knights run of friendly games against Reformers of Prisons is all tied after two games with either team grabbing a win in as many encounters.
The friendly games are being played to help both teams prepare for their respective challenges in various leagues; Knights compete in the Tema Basketball League while Reformers compete in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.
Knights lost Game 2 60-67 to Reformers after bagging a big 126-90 win over the same team in Game One; both games were played out at the Prisons Basketball Court.
Spintex played a similar series of friendly games earlier this year with strong rival Nungua Coldstore and edged Coldstore with a 2-1 series win.
Knights and Coldstore played in the 2019 Tema League Final and Coldstore emerged winners to clinch its third league title. The 2019 campaign was Knights debut run in the League.
Reformers missed out on competing in the 2019 ABL Finals that was played out between Braves of Customs and Adenta Leopards. The 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID 19.
