The start date for the league is yet to be determined but reports reaching Ghana’s biggest basketball portal indicates the league’s start date is mere weeks away.

Following the conclusion of the 2019 season, the 2020 season had to be cancelled after a few rounds of games were cleared due to the onset of the corona virus.

UG topped University of Cape Coast to win the GUSA earlier in 2020 but didn’t get the chance to play in the league due to the pandemic like the rest of the Division II contenders.
